Down the Rabbit Hole
ReplyDeleteThe other night I was dreaming that I fell down a rabbit hole. Not like in Alice in Wonderland but rather like a sewer tunnel big enough for human beings or maybe I shrunk to the size of a tiny animal and fell through. Whatever the case, I remember trying to find my way back up to the surface. Each twist and turn that I took, led me to a different part of a house? Now the rabbit hole/sewer line became the heating duct to a house or building. In order to escape from this endless labrynith heating duct, I had to find the right panel. Each panel that I tried led me to a different part of the house, every time I came out of the heating duct, I became regular sized again.
When I am in the heating duct, I can hear echos from the other rooms and voices. All these voices are talking all at once, a calliope of thoughts all clanging together. Soft whispers to loud yells.
I wake up feeling really out of sorts.
