Escape Artist: Dreams on Escaping

Similar tospy dreams, the escape artist finds themsevles in situations where escaping a situation is the only solution.  It's fight or flight.  Most people would choose flight than confronting an unpleasant experience.

Houdini had the market on being the master escape artist.  Perhaps in your dream, you see yourself as Houdini?  Perhaps this is your way of  mastering your own life plan.  There is always two choices in a locked room.  Which door will you choose? I once had a dream where I found myself in a hexagon room with 6 choices of exits.

  1. Down the Rabbit Hole

The other night I was dreaming that I fell down a rabbit hole. Not like in Alice in Wonderland but rather like a sewer tunnel big enough for human beings or maybe I shrunk to the size of a tiny animal and fell through. Whatever the case, I remember trying to find my way back up to the surface. Each twist and turn that I took, led me to a different part of a house? Now the rabbit hole/sewer line became the heating duct to a house or building. In order to escape from this endless labrynith heating duct, I had to find the right panel. Each panel that I tried led me to a different part of the house, every time I came out of the heating duct, I became regular sized again.

When I am in the heating duct, I can hear echos from the other rooms and voices. All these voices are talking all at once, a calliope of thoughts all clanging together. Soft whispers to loud yells.

I wake up feeling really out of sorts.
